Spicy Chicken Wings

At Chili INC we love spicy wings, we consider it to be a winning meal to share at parties and games with family and friends.

On February 13 will be the Super Bowl, the largest American football competition that becomes a party for sports and food enthusiasts.

The game is exciting, the commercials are super innovative, the halftime show is with the best artists and the fast food snacks are absolutely delicious.

For this year, a consumption of 1.42 billion wings is budgeted in the United States and that is why below we share this easy and delicious recipe so that you can surprise your guests during the big game.

For the chicken wings:

-1kg of chicken wings.

For the Rub:

-1 tablespoon of salt

-1 teaspoon pepper

-1 teaspoon garlic powder

-1 teaspoon onion powder

-Zest of 1 lemon

For the breading:

-2 cups flour

-2 teaspoons baking powder

-1 1/2 teaspoons salt

-1 teaspoon garlic powder

-1 teaspoon onion powder

-1 Egg white

-1 cup of milk

-1 lemon

Mix the rub and season all the wings at least 4 hours in advance, reserved in the refrigerator. We recommend that you put them on a grill or on absorbent paper so that the wings remain dry.

For the breading, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic and onion in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the lemon juice, egg white and milk. First put the wings on the flour mixture, then add them to the milk mixture and cover them again with the flour mixture, remove the excess flour and fry them in canola oil or neutral oil at about 180ºC for at least 3- 4 minutes or until you see that the crust is golden brown and if you have a thermometer, check that the internal temperature of the chicken is 75ºC. Take them out and put them on absorbent paper or on a grill to remove excess oil.

We already have the wings ready, but we need the sauces…. Below we share 3 perfect sauces for you to use your entire Guiness Records Kit and challenge your diners to try the spiciest thing in the world. If you don't want it to be so spicy, you can use any other chili or leave some of the sauces without chili for people who don't enjoy very spicy food.

For the Sauces:

Buffalo Reaper Sauce:

-1 bar of butter

-1 tablespoon garlic powder

-1 cup Valentina or Franks Red Hot hot sauce

-Carolina Reaper Chili INC

In a frying pan, melt the butter, add the hot sauce and garlic powder until the mixture is consistent, add Carolina Reaper to taste and correct the seasoning with salt and pepper.

Roasted Garlic, Parmesan, Lemon and Naga Jolokia Sauce:

-1 head of garlic

3 tablespoons of parmesan cheese

-Salt and pepper

-Naga Jolokia Chili INC

-Olive oil

-Lemon zest

Cut the base of the head of garlic and add a little salt, pepper and olive oil, wrap it in aluminum foil and put it in the oven for about 30 minutes at 160ºC. press the head to obtain the roasted garlic puree. With a fork, macerate the garlic very well with about 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of Parmesan, add Naga Jolokia to taste. To finish, add a little lemon zest.

Smoked BBQ Sauce:

For this sauce we basically use the BBQ sauce that you like the most with a little Chipotle and Trinidad Scorpion Chili INC, you heat it a little, stir it very well and that's it.

To serve, bathe the wings in the sauces and accompany with carrot and celery sticks, with a ranch or blue cheese sauce and lots of fried potatoes.
